With no sign of a rap career in sight, a boat load of kids and a failed marriage all within the last few years, you could say “Life comes at you fast.” That’s going to be Kevin Federline’s new slogan starting at the third quarter of the Super Bowl. Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. announced Wednesday that K-Fed will star in a 30-second ad running during the Feb. 4 game. He’ll join an elite club of washed up celebrities such as Fabio and fellow rapper M.C. Hammer that have also taken part in Nationwide campaigns.
In the new commercial Federline goes from starring in a rap video surrounded by beauties and bling to working at a fast-food joint. “No one has personified ‘Life Comes at You Fast’ in the media better than Federline,” said Steven Schreibman, Nationwide vice president of advertising and brand management. “Our partnership with Kevin show the world that he has a great sense of humor.” Don’t worry I’m sure it will create a lot of laughs from viewers!
Since the divorce from Britney Spears in November, the couple has agreed to share custody of their two children for this month, unfortunately after that, K-Fed will only be allowed three afternoon visits per week. That will be the only time the poor kids get any attention at all.
