Four weeks following her standoff with police, Britney Spears is back in the hospital after having been deemed a danger to herself and those around her.

Britney was transported to UCLA Medical Center late last night and placed on “mental evaluation hold.” The hospital trip was a “carefully orchestrated intervention” and was not the result of a suicide attempt or any other dangerous act on Britney’s part.

It has been said that Britney hasn’t slept since Saturday. As this trip was planned, it is likely that Britney will remain under hospital care longer than her stay from a month ago. This is merely the latest in a series of roadblocks for the singer, whose erratic behavior has already cost her custody of her two sons.

Lets all hope Britney is ok.

I think that the stress of the public invading in her life right now is increassing the affect of her depression and possible bi polar disorder. i think we need to let her heal and work on her self. there are a million other celbs we can focus our attention on. she has been through enough and worring about her every move it just adding to her illness.
