Britney Spears is now best friends with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, it has been claimed. Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn said that Federline has been accompanying Britney on tour to help take care of their two children.

She said: “Kevin has been great, as always. He and Britney have become best friends. She knows how much he cares about the boys and he knows the same is true of her.” Another source said: “Kevin also gets on great with mom and dad, so it’s one big happy family pulling together.

“Everyone just wants to make sure that this tour is successful for Britney and that she gets the comeback she deserves.” Last month, it was claimed that Britney had confronted Federline’s girlfriend Victoria Prince about spending too much time with her children.

Britney Spears was the bridesmaid at her cousin Laura Lynne Covington’s wedding in Louisiana on Saturday. Britney was described as “beautiful” and “stunningly calm” as she walked down the aisle at the ceremony with her brother Bryan.

“She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the centre of everything, just pretty and calm and collected,”. Spears later joined family members, including sister Jamie Lynn and her 11-month-old daughter Maddie, at the wedding reception in Amite.

“Britney sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew. There was no fanfare. With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride’s day.”

According to various sources, “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” may be set to tour the USA again in early fall of this year! One of the sources claims to be an employee of the Toyota Center Arena in Houston, where they have a CONFIRMED date (September 16, 2009) for Britney Spears to perform at their venue again. The unknown source also goes on to reveal that representatives from Britney’s Team are asking that the venue keep it “hush hush” until it is officially announced by her Team.

Britney will be joined by her two sons, Sean & Jayden, for the European leg of her “Circus” tour in June. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline’s pit bull custody lawyer, said Kevin is “more than happy to help facilitate Britney being able to see the boys on the European leg of the tour.”

Kaplan continues to say though Kevin has full custody of the two boys, he realizes that Britney “should not have to sacrifice visits with her boys while pursuing her career.” “Kevin has even been able to make sure that Britney can maintain the boys’ regular schedule, even though she’s on tour.”

Britney, who is a huge fan of pole dancing, as it helps maintain her new slender figure, made the unusual request to staff at London’s Dorchester Hotel, where she will be staying when she performs at the city’s O2 arena in June as part of the UK leg of her ‘Circus’ tour. A source said: “Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favourite work out. She gets the toning she needs without having to hit the gym and wants to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room.

“Keeping fit on tour is very important as her show involves lots of rigorous dance routines, so Britney likes to do her pole dancing workout first thing in the morning.” The mother-of-two has also requested the hotel provide a chef from restaurant chain Nando’s to be on hand to cook her spicy chicken whenever she feels like it.

Britney’s request comes just days after Russell Brand asked for a private pole. The British comic star, who once gave Britney sex tips, is set to stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino when shooting starts on movie ‘Get Him to the Greek’ in Las Vegas.

Russell has requested the famous Apex suite, known as the “ultimate bachelor pad”, and has its own stripper pole.
