Britney’s dad gets a raise
Britney Spears’ father Jamie Spears had been making about $10,000 a month since February to look after Britney’s finances. But, apparently, that wasn’t enough. A Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner gave Jamie a $6,000-a-month raise on Monday. A nice Christmas bonus! But that’s not all. Jamie Spears also gets an additional $1,200-a-month expense to keep up an office to deal with his daughter’s affairs. Doesn’t she have a few houses where he could just set up in the den? Without the expense account, Britney’s dad’s hourly wage comes to about $75/hour. But from the looks of things, it is money well spent. Britney’s new CD Circus debuted at number #1 on the Billboard charts, and the singer and mother-of-two has curbed her expensive partying ways.
