Britney Spears – For the Record
This is a new promo photo of Britney for her new documentary “For The Record.”
“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know,” Britney told MTV News in a statement about the special documentary. “I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”
“I’ve been through a lot, and there’s a lot people don’t know,” she says in the film. “Sometimes it can get lonely ’cause you don’t open the gate. I’m stuck in this place, and I just cope every day. “I sit there and I look back,” Britney says in her new documentary. “I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?”
For The Record, airs on MTV November 30th.

Britney is the greatest entertainer since Elvis. She can be photographed unshowered for five days, rolling in vomit, and we look on, but then she can be photographed as the most, strikingly sexy and beautiful woman, the kind the Greeks would have made a goddess of love and fertility. This is the reason she remains so famous in our culture. And, she is a sweet woman, too.
