Britney Spears friend and onetime manager Sam Lutfi has been finally served with a restraining order on Thursday February 21st, on the eve of his hearing regarding the issue. Lutfi has allegedly intentionally avoided being served with the court papers, as Britney’s lawyers claimed in court, to invalidate the restraining order, which requires notification.

However, since news of the order was widely reported in the 3 weeks since it was first granted, Lutfi will have a hard time making an argument that he was unaware of it, if he appears at his hearing Friday. The order was requested by the singer’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, on behalf of their daughter.

Britney Spears went for an eventful shopping spree on Friday going up and down Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Britney, carrying a dress on a white plastic hanger, was accompanied by her mini entourage and about 45 paparazzi pals to the Betsey Johnson shop.

Wearing a leopard-print top, Britney then made her way to the new Monique Lhuillier store before heading over to Fred Segal.

However, on leaving Fred Segal there are claims that Britney may have “forgotten to pay for the clothes that she changed into and wore out of the store, as she left with a black top over her original outfit.” The police showed up shortly after the incident, not to address Britney’s supposed light-handiness but instead to address the problem of the large amounts of paparazzi.

The German presenter of US TV show Project Runway, who lives close to Britney in Beverly Hills, California with her three children and husband Seal, believes Britney needs to spend some time hidden away from the media.

Britney led the class in “her favorite brown cowboy boots, fishnet stockings, a red short skirt, and a bluish greenish top that hangs down past her skirt.” “She worked out this great little routine for them, they were dancing all over the place, she had them dancing in a circle like a choo-choo train,” he said. “The kids loved it- they are having a ball right now. Also Britney was really enjoying herself. It’s an amazing class- she and the kids are certainly enjoying the process.”

Parents for the seven kids waited outside while she taught. A little girl, who took the class, gushed, “We had so much fun. Britney was wearing little red shorts and she looked so pretty” as she and her mother headed to their car. “Britney’s telling me that she likes this so much that she’s thinking about making it a regular thing, possibly every other week. Now that Britney Spears has been released from the UCLA Medical Center psych ward, her father is coming to live with her. Jamie will move in with his daughter. He will monitor her along with another person who will act as a guardian/sobriety type of coach.

Jamie and the as yet unnamed guardian will try to keep her calm and will also work to ensure that the people in Britney’s recent inner circle – including her self-proclaimed “manager,” Sam Lutfi and paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib stay away from the star.

The conservators over Britney, including Jamie, requested and were granted a temporary restraining order against Sam Lutfi on behalf of his daughter, Britney and the Spears family.
