While Britney & Sam were driving on the Pacific Coast Highway, after leaving the Beverly Hills Hotel, they got into a bit of an argument. Sam who was driving at the time was told to switch places so Britney could drive, but he didn’t want to. They both proceeded to argue for a bit before Britney obviously shouted louder and got him to swap.

Britney Spears is now allowed to speak to her children on the telephone but still may not see them, according to court documents released Monday.

“Britney Spears is to have telephonic contact with the minor children,” Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled at last week’s hearing. “All prior orders remain in full force and effect.”

Britney has been forbidden to see her sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, for more than three weeks now, following her January 3rd custody standoff which ended with her brief hospitalization.

Despite two attempts by her Britney’s lawyers to regain her visitation rights, she cannot see her kids indefinitely, the judge has ruled.

Britney arrived to the L.A. County Courthouse for this morning’s custody hearing. Britney was fighting for more visitation rights to see her two boys Sean Preston and Jayden James.

However, no changes have been made in the on-going custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. Britney currently has no visitation rights to see her two kids… still. Today was Britney’s chance to gain more visitation rights, but Commissioner Gordon has not allowed any changes.

Britney’s lawyers approached the custody battle in a unique way, fighting to have more visitation between Britney and the kids: “Her lawyers and family have devised a “creative way” of treating Brit, and they wanted the Commish to let her visit the kids while she undergoes treatment. The Commish has repeatedly ordered her to get a medical evaluation, but she has refused to comply.”

Perhaps Britney will use this time away from her boys to get treatment and better herself, for the sake of her and her kids.

On Sunday, celebrity photo agency X17 reported that Spears’ friend and sometimes manager Sam Lutfi showed the agency’s photographers a copy of her restraining order against Ghalib. Lutfi told one of the photographers that he and Spears want Ghalib “out of Britney’s life.”

A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department said that as of today, there was “no paperwork to indicate that she’s initiated a restraining order by any means.”

Ghalib responded to the reports with a statement on FinalPixx’s Web site. “All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning,” he said. “The reason being, that I have to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.”

Spears and Ghalib have been seen around Los Angeles together since the beginning of the month, holding hands, going on shopping sprees and hitting up clubs. There’s speculation in the tabloids that money Ghalib reportedly made from the sales of photographs of him and Spears may have thrown their romance on the rocks. “Britney expressed disappointment and anger toward Adnan for being ’set up’ in photographs that Adnan and his agency have sold of them together,” said an unnamed X17 photographer who visited with Spears late Saturday night, quoted in today’s Daily Mail.
