Zoey 101 Show Will Go On
Jamie Lynn Spears’ shocking pregnancy will not affect her Nickelodeon show Zoey 101. The show finished production on next year’s fourth and final season, set to debut in September, according to the Hollywood Reporter. New episodes will continue to air until the third season wraps up next month. The network issued a statement Wednesday: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.” It is unclear, however, what repercussions her pregnancy will have on the show’s fanbase of impressionable kids. Barry Garron, chief TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter, tells Usmagazine.com: “If I’m Jamie Lynn Spears, I would start to think that my future is no longer with Nickelodeon, that I may have a future in acting, but it would be for a different audience, one that is not made up of little kids who hold her up as a role model.â€

i am a young mom myself! once you become a mom no matter of your age you are treated like an adult. Nick is for kids and not for mom’s! please give a kid a chance to be a better role model!

i think that you guys shouls really keep the show on air.. i myself am a really big fan.. so yeah she’s pregnant and yes it may interfer with the show some but all the shows have some problems!!!! if u take zoey 101 off the air it will not just break my heart but millons of other kids too!! i love jamie lynn.. shes such a romodel!! i think they’re should be at least 2 or 3 or seasons.. it would really be cool if she even brought the baby on there!!!! just please dont cancel the show.. i beg you!!
i have 3 grandchildren and they watched the show all the time until i heard that zoey who was their idol was pregnant that was it she should not be on a kids tv show and let kids think it is okay to do this with all the teen pregnancy going around she of all people should of had had more responsibility and not have gotten herself in this situation being she was in a very popular show that kids enjoyed and loved. to this day they are not allowed to watch this anymore. tobad sorry.

I think she is an ignorant young girl who shouldn’t be considered anything close to a role model. What an idiotic world we live in where people are begging for her to still be on the air. She is an irresponsible, selfish and obviously undereducated teenager. Jamie Lynn, learn how to control your hormones.

well i think that she should continue as zoey 101. it is up to the parents to teach them what is right and what is wrong and the parents who let there kids watch the show. all they want is for the show to teach them that and that is wrong she mest up but she should not be cast aside cause of that my daughter still watches the show and loves even though she know that jaime got pregnant. that should not matter how many girls mess up. so just cause she is on tv its different she is no different then us. and to treat her like she is is wrong for her and for every one else who respects her and her descisson to keep her child.
Keep MsSpears personal life off the tv. At this time I believe it was a business decision for Nick to stop production of her show. It wasn’t affected by her personal situation. I think one more season would wrap-up the loose ends and graduate Zoey from PCA. Parents shouldn’t bash Jamie Lynn for the decision to have and raise her daughter. Furthermore parents should look at themselves in the bathroom mirror and realize its not Ms Spears their tweens are looking up to its them. Parents should be a good role model to their children.
wow i really hope they put it back on the air… i really liked the zoey 101 series more than any other show on nick…..im 11 and i really hope this show goes back on the air!!
zoey 101 is a great programme and should not get canceled just because zoey is having a child there are people who have had children at the age of 14 40 or even 16 it dosnt matter thr age you are it is how you respecet other people. anyway good luck with your child

I’m 17 and I even liked the show. I mean it could have stupid lines at times, but I really liked the story line. Everyone was waiting for Chase and Zoey to hook up which they did in the end of the last episode. Now that they are together, what else will happen? It may be interesting with them dating, but now that this happened the show might not make as much money. It would be cool to have it back, but under the circumstances, I believe that the show is over. Jamie Lynn could try to act in real movies and not children’s shows anymore, because most mothers probably wouldn’t feel comfortable having Jamie Lynn as a role model for their kids. Although Jamie Lynn is a great actress and a beautiful girl, she should move on to new things…
