Britney Optimistic About Getting Sons Back
Britney Spears is “very optimistic” that she’ll get her sons back as she completes the judge’s checklist, the singer’s close friend Sam Lufti says. Lufti, whom Kevin Federline’s camp attempted to subpoena in the ongoing custody battle, reminded PEOPLE in an e-mail that Federline getting custody is “temporary.” “We … signed all the necessary documents that she needed to get done,” he said. Spears, he added, is “in a good mood, no problems, very optimistic.”
Monday a judge granted Federline physical custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, “until further order of the court.” Lufti said that what led to the ruling was just a misunderstanding. “Scheduling conflicts and errors in communication led her to believe that her deadline was later this week rather than [Monday],” Lufti said. “However, once we finally realized what was going on, we completed the list of tasks. …So everything’s looking good.”
At least one of the judge’s requirements, however, remains unfulfilled. Spears, facing a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license, went to the Department of Motor Vehicles on Monday to get a California license to replace her Louisiana card, but DMV spokesperson Jan Mendoza says Spears hasn’t yet finished the application process.
“As of now, she’s not legally able to drive in California,” says Mendoza. “Britney Spears is still unlicensed,” Mendoza adds. “She does have a pending application. She’s very close to getting a California license.” Another hearing in the custody case is set for Wednesday.

I still have a hard time to see Britney as a looser. In these days you cant believe what youre wathing. Thats what i thougt about the troubles around Britney. But now it seems like even recognized newspapers says that she has lost the care of her children. And i wonder how did she get here? Is the loss of her boyfriend the reason or has she really lost her grip. As i see it she is the most mature, honest and goodhearted artist amongst todays female artist. I believe that she is a good human being and will find her way back to the love she have inside her. From there she can take care of her sons and return to the point where she had so much love and hope to deliver for all of us outhere that loved her from the beginning. Sometimes its a comfort to see such a forfilled woman as her on the bottom. It makes me think that nothing is impossible. Even i could get in the question to date a girl like her.

I know you sit on the computer all day long and you will read this, and I know you make anonymous comments on all the websites that talk about you. We talked for a few weeks and it was great that Britney sang happy birthday to me and it was great getting to meet her, but the whole reason for you and I talking for 3 weeks was to get an idea of how you really treat Britney behind closed doors. I would have never thought the letter I posted in December about you would have gone this far as to Blender contacting me for Danny’s story, but you did serious damage to Danny and his well being and I needed Britney and the world to see that. It’s great to see Michael making the media rounds to tell it like it really is. I stand behind Jamie and Lynn 100% and I believe you will try to redeem yourself after everything that has happened and you will make a public speech on some television show and I want the public to really think about what you’ve done before you can inject them with you manipulation.
You have been in Britney’s life for over a year and in that time, what good have you done for Britney’s career, her image, her future. Your supposed to be her manager, friend, etc, are the actions you and Britney have displayed for months helping her, I think not. A real manager would not be spending all his time taking his client adound pet stores, gas stations, breaking laws all over Los Angeles. Come on Sam, you are the parasite that Britney and Danny have been infected with. It’s only time before Britney realizes that, she just needs help to understand that. I helped Danny get rid of his disease, and he’s a much better person now. You prey on the weak and vulnerable, then with your master manipulation skills you inject your virus into them and they become your puppets.
I’m posting this letter to you here because I know that you’ll see it and I also want the public to see it as well.
