Britney & Justin Duet
Justin Timberlake and ex-lover Britney Spears are set to record a duet. Justin is confident the record can help rebuild her faltering pop career and get her back on track. A source said: “Britney was extremely touched that Justin had been in contact. Going into the studio is Justin’s way of helping her get better.” The pair are planning to visit a Los Angeles recording studio this week with producer Timbaland to re-record the Motown classic ‘You’re All I Need to Get By’, originally a hit for Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in 1968. Earlier this month, Timbaland approached Justin- – who first met Britney while starring on children’s TV show ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’ and dated her for four years until 2002 – to plead for him to help propel Britney back to the top of the charts. He said: “I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney? Would you do it with me?’ He said he would.”

u know i don know how far this message will get but… in this lifetime we sometimes lose ourselves and in doing that we stray from the ones we love but the good lord has his ways of bringing us back to what was important. i think justin and britney have always loved eachother but have let the lights take control now its up to them to take that control back and live each day like its the last. but britney got two wonderful children out of it all so everything happens for a reason remember the lord will never give us what we cant handle.

i think its a great idea. two “ex” lovers involved in music making…its an excellent way for her to get back on track. even if they don’t hook up, i mean, its great bc the chemistry (or old chemistry for that matter) will be heard in this song. wow!! ps. i LOVE that song and hope they’ll do it justice.
