Britney to Host New Year’s Party
Newly single Britney Spears is confirmed to host a New Year’s Eve party at Las Vegas’ Pure Nightclub, a club spokesperson tells People. Spears, who turns 25 this Saturday, seems to have taken a shine to Sin City since filing for divorce from husband Kevin Federline. Earlier this month, she arrived in Las Vegas and teamed up with Paris Hilton, among others, for some serious partying – staying out until 5:30 a.m. one night. (Spears and Hilton have since taken their club-hopping to Hollywood, spending almost every night together during Thanksgiving week.) For Spears, this New Year’s Eve is shaping up to be a bit different than last year’s. The pop star appeared in public only briefly last Dec. 31, as she was spotted leaving a local restaurant in Malibu with then 3-month-old son Sean Preston.
