Britney Spears Files for Divorce

US pop star Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her dancer husband Kevin Federline, according to court documents published in the US today. The 24-year-old former teen idol, who married Federline in 2004, will seek custody of the couple’s two children, one-year-old Sean Preston and two-month-old Jayden James, the documents lodged at the Los Angeles County Superior Court said. Spears’ lawyers cited “irreconcilable differences” for the split, however friends of the singer have said there was no single reason for the divorce, rather “a string of events”.

I know from personal experience that it is NOT easy, especially when children are involved. The only thing a woman has to ask herself is “How is this man enhancing my life?”
If not very much comes to mind….If you are doing it pretty much on your own any way… then what do you need him around for anyway? God made men AND women for a reason, because it takes TWO. I will not bash Kevin, there was a reason you married him & clearly at one time loved him. I am a 40 year old woman & only want to tell you, Hang in there, it might look like crap now but in time you will see you made a great choice in divorcing him. I read online that he is trying to blackmail you with a sex tape of your honeymoon, all I can say is DONT CAVE IN!!!!! No judge in there right mind would give him custody of your two sons, no to mention he probley already made copies of the tape for his friends, so one of them can sell it, that right there says what kind of asswipe he really is.Not to mention everytime something was leaked to the press, it was by one of his friends cause he has a big mouth,anyway after your done working on your new cd, take a vacation with your boys. lord knows you deserve it, after all the crap Kevin put you through. I am so happy for you, you did your best and you tried to make it work and gave him several chances. I couldn’t beleive he didn’t want you to be around during his preformance, cuz you were the only thing that the people really cared about. He always was trying to put you down so you could look up to him, but the man has no talent. He should have been licking your feet eveytime they were dirty. Just one piece of advice, take your time on the next one, make sure he’s the right one for you and your boys.

I hope everyone remembers that there are 2 children involved here, and that their well-being is at stake. With Britney’s current behaviour (e.g., “partying it up” with Paris Hilton), she is not acting like a mother. Of course, mothers have every right to have their fun, but just because you get a babysitter for the night doesn’t mean that you get to strip yourself of the title of mother. I think she’s acting irresponsibly. If she wanted to live the glamour life in which she would be free to do whatever she chooses, she should have thought about that before she had children. There’s no such thing as an accidental pregnancy afterall, she consented to having sex, and therefore all resulting pregnancies should be considered planned.
Britney you are absolutely make the right decision. leave this loser, lazy guy he’s not your once for u.
